My friends Bobby and Wouter went to Mallorca with a group of Bobby's students and they found the always difficult Majorcan Midwife Toad without much trouble, so I booked myself a ticket as fast as possible and spent 1 and a half day on Majorca.

Majorca is probably one of the cheapest places in Europe to rent a car, so for only 3 euro more I got myself a cool herping mobile, much better than my own car.

When I arrived I drove straight to the mountains and climbed up, here I found around 20 toads, so that was perfect compared to the december trip we did in 2014 when we only found tadpoles in this place.

It was great to see so much variation in all those little toads.

After photographing some of them I searched in the evening in an other place and after that I drove to the house where Bobby, Wouter and Bobby's students were staying.

When they arrived we had a beer and I found a bed there.

The next day we searched at some places, but not much was found. Around noon the others left and I spend the last 2 hours at a very nice beach.

At the airport I found out that my flight was delayed for a couple of hours, but luckily I met with 2 great Belgian women who hopefully enjoyed my presence just as much as I enjoyed theirs!

Thanks Stien & Fem for the nice flight!
